VolKo is a volunteer matching app operated for Volunteers Korea. This policy explains what information the app collects and how it is used.

• Volunteer participation information such as saved activities, applications, selected time slots, approval status, and volunteer records.

How We Use Information

• To create and manage volunteer and organization accounts.
• To show volunteer opportunities, receive applications, and manage approvals.
• To calculate aggregate service statistics such as Total VolKo Hours.
• To send service-related messages such as verification emails and notifications.
• To maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the app.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. Information may be shared only when needed to operate the service, comply with legal obligations, or protect users and organizations.

Retention

Information is retained for as long as needed to operate the service, maintain volunteer records, resolve issues, and meet legal or administrative requirements.

Security

We use reasonable technical and operational safeguards, including HTTPS for app-server communication. No system can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure.
